Regular Season Round 23: Rotterdam - Den Bosch 71-74

One of the most interesting games of round 23 was a derby match between two teams from Holland. Sixth ranked Den Bosch edged host Rotterdam (3-19) 74-71. Den Bosch made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Keevan Veinot (193-1998, college: Dalhousie) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Center Menno Dijkstra (213-1997, college: UC Riverside) helped adding 17 points and 4 assists. American forward James Graham (201-2000, college: AUM) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jakari Spence (183-2001, college: Jacksonville) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Four Rotterdam players scored in double figures. Defending Dutch champion (14-8) moved-up to fifth place. Rotterdam lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with 19 games lost. Den Bosch will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rotterdam will play again against Den Bosch (#5) and hope to secure a win.
